Spiritual Lecture for the Moyo Family Meeting

Title: “Walking in Unity, Purpose, and Light”

Good morning, beloved family.
Today, as we gather as one, I want to remind us of who we are and what we are called to be.

First, we are a family— bound by blood, by marriage, and by love. A family is not just a group of people living under one roof; it is a covenant of unity, support, and shared destiny. As Scripture says in Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Our strength lies in our togetherness.

Second, we are a spiritual family. Our foundation is built on faith, prayer, and godly values. We are called to be light in a world full of darkness. That means we must reject moody spirits, backbiting, gossip, laziness, and uncleanness. These are tools of division and destruction. Instead, let our words build, our actions inspire, and our hearts remain pure. As Ephesians 4:29 reminds us, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up.”

Third, we are a commercial family — entrusted with businesses and resources. But our enterprises must be guided by integrity, excellence, and stewardship. A business without godly principles will crumble, but one built on righteousness will endure. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

So, my charge to you today is simple:

  • Love intentionally— let no one regret your presence.
  • Speak life— let your words heal, not harm.
  • Work diligently— laziness has no place in our family.
  • Live clean— in body, mind, and spirit.
  • Stay united — for together, we can achieve far more than we ever could alone.

Let us remember that our family’s legacy will not be measured by wealth alone, but by the love, unity, and godly character we pass on to future generations.

As we begin this meeting, let us commit to being a family of positive energy, purpose, and power. May our homes be filled with peace, our businesses with integrity, and our hearts with God’s love.

Let us pray…

Dr. Victor Moyo
