All the Admins and members of staff, I greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus who gave his life for the redemption of our sins.

  • Twyman (2006) wrote, “There is only one reason why I came to this earth, to demonstrate the reality of my Father/ Mother`s love. And because we stand together in this love, you have come to do the same. We will do this through every circumstance of our lives, for that is what time is for. I used time wisely, and I am asking you to do the same.
  • It is on the basis of the above assertion that we as leaders in ACTV group should embrace love and wise usage of time.
  • In commerce time is equated to money just an attempt to demonstrate how valuable time is. It is both irreplaceable and unrecoverable.
  • Everything we do should be done within the parameters of love of course with time consciousness. ACTV is not the home of haters. We are leaders who chose to exercise Christianity in everything we do. Trustworthiness, fairness, honesty and kindness and other related virtues have become the order of the day at ACTV group of schools.
  • As leaders we have a number of other duties such as establishing healthy working relationships, accepting personal responsibility for emotional health and capacity to connect and build meaningful relationships with people inside and outside ACTV.
  • All profitable and progressive works start with leadership, at all times somber atmosphere yields unattractive results. I therefore call upon ACTV leaders to always give a wary glance at prevailing operating atmospheres.
  • Leadership achievements should be seen in the people led first. People should be seen growing in both professional and personal security (welfare). Of course people should reflect high level of happiness and trustworthiness. The people we lead should trust us with their lives and future. It is our utmost duty to ensure that the people we lead are not stagnant in the same lower position.
  • On the same note we as leaders should grow ourselves such that we do not feel intimidated by anyone, be it our competitors or colleagues. How do you identify that one leader is gripped with intimidation? Failure to share progressive information with colleagues, reluctance to take key decisions, failure to grow his/her subordinates etc.
  1. Leaders are identified by what they say, what they stand for, what they change and what they do. It is on this basis that ACTV group Board of Directors fights tirelessly to support managers of the stations to clearly mark their footprints. We closely monitor our teams (Admin) as to see how they are progressing in areas of academics, staff wellness, infra-structural development and organizational publicity.
  2. In summary our Board meetings are never witch-hunting ceremonies but are designed to assess and evaluate our management teams. The teams are then assisted as to how best they can mitigate their challenges. This becomes our basic role as a Board and the exercise is full of thorough interrogation of our teams and problems at hand. We therefore encourage our teams taking the stand to remain calm, true and cooperative. The process may at times sound tense but the conclusions are usually pleasing to all. We continue to carry the placards of proudness of our professional teams that are never deterred to progress by the escalating adverse macro-environment.

By these few words I declare this 24th Board meeting session opened!!!!!!!!!
